How to file a Motor Insurance claim

In case of an accident, theft or damage to your vehicle, follow these steps to register a motor insurance claim with SecureHouse.

Ensure safety & inform us

Ensure everyone’s safety first. Inform our 24x7 helpline immediately. In case of theft or major accident, file an FIR at the nearest police station.

Do not repair immediately

Avoid starting repairs before surveyor inspection unless required for safety. Take clear photos and videos of the damage.

Submit required documents

Provide policy copy, driving license, RC, claim form, FIR (if required) and repair estimate from garage.

Survey & settlement

Our surveyor will inspect the vehicle and approve the claim. Payment will be made to garage (cashless) or reimbursed to you.

Motor Insurance Claims FAQ

In a cashless claim, repairs are done at our network garage and payment is directly settled between SecureHouse and the garage. You only pay deductibles if applicable.

Simple motor claims are generally settled within 5–7 working days after survey and document verification.

NCB is a discount on renewal premium offered for claim-free years. It can range from 20% to 50% depending on your claim history.
